Meet Clair Bowman,

B.Ed, MSW, RSW

I believe that every person deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My passion for this work comes from witnessing the strength and resilience people carry, even during their most difficult moments.

Being able to walk alongside someone as they gain insight, build coping skills, and begin creating meaningful change in their life is both an honour and a privilege. Supporting people through healing, growth, and self-discovery is what continues to inspire my work every day.

A Compassionate Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in respect. I believe that each person’s story is unique, and I take the time to understand your experiences, strengths, and goals.

In our work together, you can expect a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood. I strive to create an environment that feels safe and non-judgmental, where you can explore difficult emotions, develop insight, and build practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges.

I view therapy as a partnership. Together, we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while working toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

My Credentials

B.Ed, MSW, RSW

I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and hold a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

In addition to my social work background, I also hold a Bachelor of Education degree from York University and practiced as an elementary school teacher for a few years. This experience has given me valuable insight into school systems and the supports available to students, and it continues to inform my work with children, teens, and families today.

I am deeply committed to supporting my clients in meaningful and compassionate ways, and I am continually seeking out new learning, training, and professional development to ensure I can provide the most effective care possible.

A place to feel heard, supported, and understood.

The Office

My office is tucked away in the heart of downtown Georgetown in Halton Hills, Ontario. It is conveniently located within a 10–15 minute walk of several nearby schools including Georgetown District High School (GDHS), Christ the King Catholic Secondary School (CTK), and Holy Cross Elementary School.

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a comfortable waiting room where you’re invited to sit, take a moment to settle in, and enjoy a coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. When I’m ready, I will come out to greet you and invite you into my office for your session.

My goal is for the space to feel calm, welcoming, and supportive from the moment you arrive.

Accessibility

My office is located on the ground level, making it easily accessible. Parking is available directly in front of the building for your convenience.

Meet Hudson

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking with my dog Hudson, reading, and sharing time with my family.

I value the opportunity to slow down and recharge, and these experiences help me stay grounded and present in both my personal and professional life.

If you’re ready to begin, or even just thinking about it, please reach out. I’d love to connect.
