THERAPY IN GEORGETOWN, ONTARIO

Whether you’re exploring therapy for the first time or returning after previous experiences, you’re in the right place.

Individual Therapy for Children, Teens, and Adults

I support children, teens, and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed or discouraged and are looking for support in creating positive change. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating anxiety, trauma, OCD, relationship/family challenges, or difficult life transitions.

  • I work with children who may be struggling with trauma, anxiety/OCD, ADHD, bullying, behavioural challenges, low mood, or difficulties at school. Starting therapy can sometimes feel scary, so I focus on creating a warm and supportive environment where children feel safe and comfortable.

Using compassionate, age-appropriate, evidence-based approaches, I help children develop coping skills, build confidence, and strengthen their ability to navigate challenges at school, at home, and in friendships while supporting their healing and emotional growth.

  • Many of the teens I work with are navigating trauma, anxiety/OCD, school stress, friendship or family challenges, or difficult emotions. Being a teenager today can feel overwhelming at times.

Therapy can provide a supportive space where teens feel heard and understood while learning practical skills to manage challenges, build confidence, heal, and move forward with greater resilience.

  • I support adults who may be experiencing a variety of mental health concerns including trauma, anxiety/OCD, stress, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, or life transitions. These experiences can feel overwhelming and may sometimes lead to feelings of burnout.

With guidance, support, and motivation, we can work together to identify your strengths, overcome obstacles, develop practical skills, and move toward healing and positive change in your life.

  • I support LGBTQ+ individuals who may be navigating identity exploration, relationship challenges, family dynamics, discrimination, or life transitions. These experiences can sometimes feel isolating or overwhelming.

Therapy can provide a supportive and affirming space where you feel safe to explore your experiences and express yourself openly. Together, we can work to strengthen self-acceptance, build coping skills, and support your wellbeing as you move forward with greater confidence and authenticity.

The Therapy Process

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and explore what has brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals and what you hope might change or feel different in your life.

Sessions are typically 55 minutes, and we will move forward at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you. My hope is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported while working toward meaningful change.

I offer in-person therapy for children, youth, and adults in Georgetown and the Halton Hills area-including Toronto, Milton, Oakville, Acton, Brampton, Mississauga, Burlington, Guelph and other service areas. I also offer virtual therapy throughout the province of Ontario.

Fees for Therapy

My fees follow the guidelines set by the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).

Many extended health plans cover therapy with a Registered Social Worker, and you may also be able to claim services as a medical expense at tax time.

Theraputic Approaches

My approach integrates evidence-based therapies including, but not limited to, CBT, DBT, ERP, and mindfulness. My goal is to help you feel validated, supported, and hopeful as we work together.

Mindfulness-based approaches help you become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in the present moment. This practice can reduce stress, increase emotional regulation, and support greater clarity and balance in your daily life.
